Add your voice to the call for a GE-free future!
As you may know already - the EU Commission is forcing GE crops upon Europeans without care and attention to safety concerns for our environment or our health. To put a stop to this - we have joined forces with Avaaz and Friends of the Earth to collect 1 million signatures calling for a moratorium on GE crops in the EU.
A new initiative allows 1 million EU citizens a unique chance to make official requests of the European Commission. Let's make it official! Add your voice now or pass this along to friends you have in the EU and help us reach 1 million!
We have a team on the road in Europe right now with our 'GE-free future bus'. The bus left Amsterdam last week and following an eventful visit to Luxembourg - she is now in Hungary. Still to come - Italy France and Spain!
President Barroso of the EU has received over 1,700 individual emails calling for a moratorium on GE food in the EU. Thanks to those of you who have acted by sending your own personal e.mail. If you haven't done this yet - click here;
